GC&E Federal is seeking an INSIDE PLANT TECHNICIAN (ISP)
The candidate for this position will work within our team to support our government Inside and Outside Plant program with our JBM-HH NEC. As an ISP Technician you will be an integral part in ensuring the successful operations and maintenance of the Telecommunications infrastructure at JBM-HH, VA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

• Support the Inside Plant services requests as required.

Experience with the following:

• Fiber, Copper & Coax Termination & Testing
• I3A Standards
• EIA/TIA Standards
• CAT5e/6/7 Installation Experience
• Plant-in-Place Drawings
• Analog and VoIP Phone Systems
• PA Systems
• Special Circuits
• MS Office Suite
• Remedy and TMS

Candidate Requirements:

• SECRET Clearance with T3 Investigation
• Antiterrorism Level 1 Training
• iWatch Training
• Level 1 OPSEC
• Safe Driver Training
• Acceptable Use Policies (AUP)

Location:

• Joint Base Myers – Henderson Hall (JBM-HH), VA – This is not a remote position. Local candidates only. Work to be performed at Fort Myers and Henderson Hall
